Dice the onion and garlic cloves. Heat the olive oil in a pot. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent. Deglaze with water and red wine vinegar. Add the tomato ketchup and brown sugar. Stir in the spices.
Add the two flavours coka and cherry. Let the burger sauce simmer for about 45 minutes over a low heat until it thickens. Keep stirring well so that it does not stick to the bottom.
For that special coke flavour, stir another 5 drops of coke flavouring into the finished burger sauce. For the burger, spread the buns on both sides with the myAroma burger sauce.
Place the burger pattie on top and serve with gherkins and red onion slices, for example, according to taste.
