Traditional Kaiserschmarrn with rum raisins

For 1 Muffins
Preparation time: ca. 35 Minutes

 

INGREDIENTS 

300 ml milk

200 g flour

8 eggs

200 g sugar

10 drops of myAROMA No 82 lemon

20 drops of myAROMA No 66 Rum

60 g raisins

sliced almonds

200 g icing sugar


Preparation

Soak the raisins in a mixture of 20 drops of myAROMA rum and some water overnight.

For the dough, separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix the milk, flour, 100 g icing sugar, myAROMA lemon and egg yolk until fluffy. The whipped cream can now be lifted under the dough. Place the finished dough on a well-greased baking sheet and spread. According to taste, sliced ​​almonds and the pickled raisins can now be sprinkled on the dough. Bake the mass in a preheated oven at approx. 200 °C for 15 - 20 minutes and then pull apart into pieces with two forks. Sprinkle the finished Kaiserschmarn with the remaining powdered sugar.

 

PS: If you want, you can add a delicious vanilla sauce to the finished Kaiserschmarrn. You can easily make this yourself with the myAROMA vanilla!
