Cut a slice from the lime and set aside for the garnish. For the salt rim, spread the salt on a small plate. Cut a lime half and run it around the rim of the glass. Dip the rim of the glass coated with lime juice into the salt and twist. Squeeze the lime. Place in a blender with the other ingredients and the ice cubes. Pour the finished ice cream mixture into the glass and decorate with the lime slice.
Tip: For several margaritas, fill the blender with the desired amount. If the flavouring is omitted, it can be drizzled into the glass later. This way, everyone can add their favourite flavour to the margarita. Don't forget to stir.
