Prepare the yeast dough in a bowl with the ingredients and let it rise covered until it has doubled in size. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured dough surface. Weigh the ingredients for the filling into a bowl and mix well. Spread the mixture onto the dough. Roll up the dough from the long side, cut into approx. 5 cm thick slices and place with the cut side up in a round, approx. 28 cm diameter baking dish.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat, in the meantime the snails can rise again. Then put it in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. Prepare the frosting during the baking time. Spread the frosting onto the still warm snails with a brush and let them cool.
