Marzipan Shortbread Cookies

ingredients

250 g butter
80 g icing sugar
250 g flour
75 g cornstarch
pinch of salt

20 drops myAROMA No 75 vanilla
20 drops myAROMA No 53 marzipan
icing sugar for sprinkling
Orangenmarmelade

Liquefy the butter and leave to cool slightly. Add 20 drops each of myAROMA vanilla and marzipan flavour. Add the icing sugar, flour, cornstarch and a pinch of salt. Mix with a hand mixer until a dough forms. Wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into two pieces on a floured work surface and form both into a roll. Cut slices to about 2 centimetres thick. Place on a baking tray with baking paper and bake at 150°C for about 12 minutes. Leave to cool and sprinkle with icing sugar. To serve, place a small teaspoon of orange marmalade on each cookie.
