Eggnog cinnamon stars with orange glaze

40 cinnamon stars

45 min. preparation time

 

ingredients

300 g grounded almonds
3 egg whites
250 g fine sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
60 drops myAROMA No 17 egg liqueur

 

for the glaze

20 drops myAROMA No 56 orange
1 egg white
90 g icing sugar

 

preparation

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites for the batter until stiff. Add the myAROMA egg liqueur flavouring. Carefully fold in the almonds, fine sugar and cinnamon. Place the dough on a well-floured work surface. Knead in a little more flour if necessary. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick. Cut out the stars. For the icing, beat 1 egg white until stiff. Stir in the icing sugar. Add the myAROMA orange flavouring. Brush the cinnamon stars with it. Bake in the preheated oven at 140°C top and bottom heat for 15-17 minutes. Allow to cool and then remove from the tray.
